Calories: 1419
Exercise:
Cardio-46 minutes on treadmill (374 calories burned, 2.7 miles, 3.35 average speed, average pace 16:53, average heart rate: 139)
Weights- Free weights/arms. Ouch! (In a good way). :)
I tried to push it a little more on the treadmill. Still walking, but I tried (and accomplished) keeping my heart rate in the recommended target heart range for my age. Woot woot! Even though it is only day three, I am amazed at how quickly my body is adapting to the exercise. Every day I want to go a little further, go a little faster. My goal for tomorrow is to walk a 5K. I'm not too far away from it!
How did you do today?

Yay! Good for you. I'm still not allowed to exercise because I had a surgery about a week back but I can't wait to get on that elliptical my hubby got me! We found it for $15 because someone was moving and didn't want to move it. :0)
ReplyDeleteGood for you Stephanie, I did not do that good today as I had a partial blockage rear its ugly head and prevented me from going to the pool (I go M-W-F) but I will be back to the pool Friday.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are doing a terrific job with the exercising...keep going, and make this a life long habit.
Take care
Joyce

I haven't really started exercising yet... right now I am just keeping my diet under control!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great with your walking! I am happy to see that you are pushing yourself a little bit more everyday... that is a great way to build up your endurance!
You can do that 5K! Did your feet fully recover from the surgery you had a few years ago?
