My husband isn't feeling well, but he really wanted me to go to the gym so he took care of the kids while I went. He is the best! I couldn't do this without his support.
Today was a little rough, I wanted to eat a lot more than I should, I was internally whiny all day. I also really didn't feel like going to the gym, but I kicked butt at my run/walk today. I tried to run (translation: jog) for 1 minute of each song I listened to on my iPod. I burned the most calories yet in my 50 minute workout (529) and finished a 5K at 48 minutes (3 minutes away from my WLorB end goal). Woohoo!
Here are my official stats (more for me than you). :)
Eating:
-Calories: 1320 Calories (I've got to get back to my 1200 goal. I did so good last week, but not so much this week).
Exercise:
-Treadmill 54:05 (burned 529 calories, went 3.38 miles at av speed of 3.76 mph, average pace 15:56, heart rate 135).
How was your Wednesday?

It was good! However, I think my future mother in law may be trying to throw me off track. She sent my boyfriend home with a silk chocolate cheese cake! (AND SHE KNOWS I'M ON A DIET!)
ReplyDeleteGood for you! What a great hubby you have there. Mine is on board with the get me healthy thing too. My Wednesday was rough too...but I got the house cleaned and worked in some elliptical time.
ReplyDeleteWell sounds like you did good...I ate more then I should have but then I had a migraine, so go figure!
ReplyDeleteTake care
Joyce
I am so glad to hear you have a WONDERFUL support system in place! Try not to stress too much on your caloric intake, 1200 is the very lowest you should go, 1300 calories is quite reasonable!

Vanessamae-Boo on that cheesecake! We had one sitting in our fridge for WAY too long. My husband finally finished it off and I breathed a sigh of relief.
ReplyDeleteJeannette-Glad your husband is supportive too, and proud of you for getting things done on a rough Wednesday.
Joyce-Feel better lady!
Maria-Thanks, I'm trying not to stress, but just don't want those calories creeping up and up, ya know?
I am so proud of your husband! You have your own fan club!
ReplyDeleteYou did great Steph!
I am so impressed by your running progress! You are doing so well. (my run is also a jog lol). I agree 1200 calories is very low. Going too low could def backfire on you-your body might revolt and watch out for crazy cravings if you deny your body too much. Your hubby gets am A+!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm getting a lot of love on here! :) You rock babe, keep up the great work. xoxo
ReplyDeleteKeep it up, Steph! What a great workout!
ReplyDeleteI think you are doing so awesome! I just want to tell you that my experience with restricting my calories too much was that I stopped losing COMPLETELY. When I went back up a bit (about 150 calories a day) I started losing again immediately. While you DO want to "shock" your body into burning fat you don't want to put it into starvation mode. The best thing that I did was keeping track of how many of my calories were from carbs & how many were from protein. When I am getting my calories primarily from protein & good fats that is when I see the best results (on the scale & in my measurements AND in how I feel!).
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work! You ROCK!
I think I asked this before, but I can't remember which post and I don't know if you responded! :o) How did you decide on 1200 calories?
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine shared this with me, and I thought of you for some reason. I think you should watch it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXoKe5QvCrk
